A Christmas Gift
The beautiful singer standing tall and so strong,
Booming the words of each wonderful song
His baritone voice articulates so well,
Followed by gratitude he is mindful to tell..
Of Marge MacPherson’s three-part harmony
Solfege singing, a favorite memory.
First solo in Jr Hi; teacher Jacqueline Coon,
Piano lessons with Mary Mattoon.
Helen Pletsch, Lou Coccognia, Larry Alderfer,
Bob Gazzara, Kimber Billow, inspiring for sure.
In a small community on the River Chemung,
With a rich heritage of music played and sung.
I call him beautiful, thinking of his heart,
Praising his roots; his humble start.
He is ours! Thanks be to God!
Who enriches our lives with a gift named Todd.
